ATG "gun" ...adhesive

I'm looking for some advise!!  Is it necessary for me to get an ATG?  :-)  I have a 50% off coupon and I'm just debating whether it's really necessary...thoughts???

You're My Good Luck Charm

 I love using my Create A Critter cartridge.  And I think my favorite Critter in it is the panda.  Today I made this cute card with the panda and my new cartridge, Life Is A Beach.  The bamboo card fits perfectly with my cute panda.   I used Stickles to add some sPaRkLe, a great faux fur ribbon for tExTuRe and a flower for added dImEnSiOn.  As usual the inside is blank until that perfect time shows itself when I'll need a cute card made with love.  xoxo

JoAnn's Coupon

So, I'm going crazy here stuck at home with a sick baby :0(  I'm also going crazy because my JoAnn's coupon doesn't start until Friday and I have a coupon burning a hole in my wallet...this isn't the regular coupon I usually get for a regular priced item, it's for anything.  This is awesome because everything is ALWAYS on sale when I shop there!  Oh well, I'll just save my money and wait for Friday...hopefully I'll make it!  Now to make my list :-)

Rainy Dayz

Today is another rainy day.  I wonder what today will bring...yesterday on my way out of JoAnn's it started pouring much worse than it was when I went inside.  Well, Abigail didn't have a hoodie on...so I had to take my little sweatshirt off and wrap it around her so she wouldn't get too wet.  I didn't think it through completely, 'cause now I was completely wet!  Oh well, the joys of a rainy day.  While I was at JoAnn's though I got a new cartridge, so my day wasn't ruined :-)  I picked up Life's a Beach (not new to the world, just new to me).  I can't wait to make some cute things!!  So, I'm thinking I need to turn on the Cricut and get scrappin' 'cause I'm sure not going for a walk in this weather!

Pinkalicious Blog Hop ~ SpRiNg!

...Here is my completed project.  Now I just have to go to Costco and pick up my pictures to add to it :-)  I can't wait for Thursday (that's when I'm going to Costco).  I used the Create A Critter and Lyrical Letters cartridges.  fun...fuN...fUN...FUN!!!

I finished my 1/2 marathon at around 10:30 this morning...2 hours 21 minutes and 37.4 seconds  :-D  Much better than I thought I would do!  I'm so glad it's over and even more glad that I did it!  Thanks to some great girls for the training, the support and being there this morning!

Pinkalicious Blog Hop ~ SpRiNg!

The layout I'm creating is for my Creative Memories Magnetic Everyday Display board.  I love my board very much...but I've neglected it since the Giants were in the playoffs.  So, it's time to update!  I'm hoping to be done before dinnertime(in 2ish hours)...to be continued

ShamRock'n Half Marathon 2011

For the last 3 months (or so) I've been training to run in my first, and only, half marathon.  Just so you know...that's 13.1 miles!!!  Well, tomorrow is the big day and I'm excited.  I'm running with some really great people and IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!  So, I think it will be a lot of fun.  My iPod is charged and my shoes are ready to go :-)
I'm also excited to get a great picture of all us girls to put in this adorable frame that I personalized...13.1 here I come!!

Is it SPRING yet??

It's been awhile since I've posted...I hope everyone is doing FABULOUS!  I made this adorable garden card the other day...when I got a few MommyMinutes during a short nap my daughter reluctantly took.  =) I used my cricut for the stems of the flowers(CreateACritter vines from the monkey button), otherwise it's just a sticker from Creative Memories and some pre-cut flowers I had in my drawer.  I thought it turned out great!

Hopefully I'll be able to do some actual scrapping in the near future...It is my birthday on Sunday, so I think I deserve more than a few uninterrupted MommyMinutes!!  Have a great Wednesday! xoxo

Tales of a One Year Old

The last couple of days have been difficult for my little one year old.  First she had the flu.  Since then she hasn't wanted to stay home.  Park, getting the mail, going shopping it doesn't matter; she just doesn't want to be home. Then tonight when I put her in the tub she burst out in tears...why, I didn't really know.  She loves the water and being in the tub (it wasn't too warm or too cold).  As she was screaming I was able to look into her mouth...the poor little thing is getting 4 teeth at once.  4...Four...Quatro...wow!  I can't believe that she could get that many at once.  Now all of the whining and crying and being so needy makes complete sense to me.  So, here's hoping these next 4 teeth come in quickly!!!!!
