Happy Birthday 2 U

My Grandma has been "hiring" me for a lot of her cards recently.  And it's been so much fun helping her put her ideas onto paper and into a cute card.  This one was for my cousin who loves to fish...lol, he caught a cupcake!
Recipe: Everyday Paperdolls, random brads and random paper ;-)

Recent Card Making

Spider is from Designer's Calendar cartridge
I have Halloween fever for sure!  I borrowed a few Halloween cartridges from a friend and I'm having a lot of fun making cute Halloween cards. (I am definitely not a fan of spooky and scary things!)

Monster treat bags are from Mini Monsters

These cute guys are stamps I bought from the Michael's dollar aisle.
I also used my new Cuttlebug!!!  I can't believe it's taken me this long to get one.  I LOVE it...it was my early Christmas present, that's really the only way I get cool new things; to buy them for myself and say they are for a holiday that's coming up ;-)

Website Love

I just ordered some Cricut cartridges from a few different online websites and I just have to say I'm in love with things that are on sale. I was also able to finally cash in my reward points on the Cricut website.  It was a good day for me :-)   I used hallmarkscrapbook.com and cricutmachine.com for my great deals  ;-)  I know these aren't new websites, but they are wonderful!  I'm hoping to do a lot of scrapping in the next 3-5 days!  xoxo  Thanks to my scrappy friend Victoria for always wanting to get a good deal too!!

The Holidays Are Upon Us

For Halloween this year I am making/looking for our costumes.  I have my husband, myself and my daughter's to make/find.  This morning I made my daughters...I used a onesie and hot glued felt feathers on the front and butt.  I'm going to add wings and there is a feathery clip.  This is my version of our favorite feathered character from Harry Potter, Hedwig.  My husband is going to be Neville and I am going to be Luna.  We're very excited to attend this Harry Potter Halloween Bash!

Scrap 4 a Cure

A few weekends ago I had a very productive and fun Saturday!  I attended a local fundraiser for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  We had a small group of great girls and we scrapped the day away.  We were also lucky enough to get wind of a garage sale in town that was selling A LOT of new scrapbook supplies(the garage sale was at the residence of a family that used to own a scrapbook store that went out of business)  Let's just say I go A LOT of paper :-)  I worked feverishly on my husband's baby album and it was great to hear the buzz of Cricuts all day...it kept me motivated.  I can't wait 'till next year so we can have another successful day!

Oh Happy Day!!

I finally got to do some crafting again...it's been way too long!  My Sissy graduates from high school this year and I got the honor and pleasure of making invitations to her party.  I loved making little "Hannah's" and figuring out what I wanted to do for the cards.  Enjoy the finished product!!  I used Reflections solid red paper, Everday Paper Dolls, scallop punch, black and white ribbon scraps and stamps.  It was A LOT OF FUN!!!  :-D
