CTO Challenge

"Anything Goes Birthday"
http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com
I'm entering my "Chompy Birthday" card into this challenge because I LOVE the cute alligator from Create a Critter :-)

Rainy Day Activity

Yesterday was a gloomy and rainy day.  So being the teacher that I am, I came up with a rainy day activity...for myself.  I made cards!!  A grand total of 8 cards were made and their themes were all over the place.  My favorite by far was the monkey card I made with the Create-a-Critter cartridge.  I also liked my flower garden card.  Even though the cricut would drowned out the sound of the rain most of the time, it was nice to hear the pitter patter of rain drops while I was working.  Happy Rainy Days to you all!

Sweet Success

You know the feeling...The feeling you get as you're finishing the last page of a scrapbook full of memories that will last forever...Success, Relief, Satisfaction, Excitement.  I'm so pleased to say I'm finished with my Hawaii Vacation scrapbook.  It looks great, at least I think so ;-)  I'll sleep well tonight...actually I guess it's today  :-)

Pulled an All Nighter!!

Awww the feeling of almost success!!  I pulled an all nighter last night...i finally went to sleep at 4 am.  I felt that I had gotten enough done to call it progress.  33 pages of our trip to Hawaii and I'm still not done.  Unfortunately I think this is going to need its own separate album and I won't be adding it to the family 2011 album.  (side note: I haven't even started the family 2010 album, so 2011 isn't even in my to do pile yet)  Now I'm wishing that my one year old had continued to sleep this morning so I could keep working.  O well, I guess I'll just take a breakfast break and work again at Naptime.  :-)  Have a wonderful Friday!!

Everything's Better With a Little Bubbly

This afternoon and evening I had a lovely time scrapping with my MIL.  And to make this "crop" even more fun she brought along Cupcake sparkling wine.  MMMMMmmmmmMMMMM!!  I was so excited about the label, 'cause I love cupcakes, and then I was pleased with the taste.  I didn't get much accomplished today, but I was able to make a few cute people with my Everyday Paper Dolls and Paper Doll Dress-Up cartridges.  Sometimes just putting all the layers together is enough to make me feel productive :-)  My magic number was 4 today and all of the people I made layered out at 4 inches.  I can't wait to add them to my pages of our trip to Waikoloa, Hawaii that we took this January.

My First Blog Hop

The Pink Stamper, Robyn, is a new favorite of mine.  She has great videos, stamps and ideas.  www.mypinkstamper.com  I recommend checking her out.  This past Friday she hosted a Pinkalicious Blog Hop and it was the first one I have participated in.  You had to use black and another color of your choice.  I chose blue.  This was my finished product:  Movie Gift Card Holders

Valentine's Day 2011

What a lovely day to start my blog!  These are the Valentine's my daughter "made" (she's one, so she got a lot of help from Momma) for all of the people she loves.  In our little family of 3 we don't go all out for Vanlentine's Day, homemade cards are about all we do.
